Murder

I saw a murder last week!  I found it so exciting but rather startling at the same time.  After all, it WAS broad daylight and out front of the local public school, no less!  But not another soul was in sight, only me.

Those involved saw me as I approached and I saw them watching me, so I slowed down, unsure of what they would do next.  They decided to not hang around and took off, across the road and up the street.

When I got home, I mentioned it on social media but everyone I told, after they got over the initial shock, thought it hilarious that I should see such a sight.

I don’t know why!  It’s not often one gets to witness a murder, and who does one tell?  My one regret is not being fast enough with my camera or I could have had physical proof!

But as with all other birds, when a murder of crows see humans approaching, they don’t stick around for long!
