Obsession

You’re my world, you’re my reason for being

You’re the reason I constantly have this feeling

This internal deep love embedded in mind and heart

I think I’d die if we were forever apart.

Even in my dreams, you’re always by my side

Whenever my dreams became nightmares, I cried

The thought of anything ever happening to you

How I would live, I have no clue.

Your time is short, you’re not young anymore

You even sound old when you sleep, you snore

I want you with me forever, I’m selfish that way

Even though you’re less black & white, more grey

You’ll always be my pup, my lovely old girl

You’re my jewel, my gem, my precious little pearl.
