This week, use your journal to work on an introduction for Assessment 2 (Academic Essay).
- Consider how you will introduce your topic and your argument and and how you will set the scene for what you will deliver in your academic essay.
The topic I've chosen for discussion in my essay is:
In the Postmodern world, fiction and non-fiction should no longer be considered separated genres.
Still uncertain as to how to start this essay. I wholeheartedly disagree with this statement, and I definitely want to stress that.
Perhaps if I use examples of books both in the fiction and non-fiction genres, compare and contrast the two, and explain why it wouldn't be a good idea to put these under the same genre. I'm thinking of using "Born Free" as an example of non fiction. Haven't decided what book to use as fictional yet. Still working on this.
Anyway, will come back to this writing exercise next study period.
